MEPs voted in an emergency Brexit session of the European Parliament today (28 June) but the devil, as always in Brussels, was in the detail.
Eagle-eyed MEP Ian Duncan spotted that the number of MEPs voting on the Parliament resolution was 666 – the number of the Beast.
The Beast is also known as Satan, the Devil, Old Nick, Lucifer and Beelzebub.

European Council President Donald Tusk had warned that Brexit could spell the end of Western civilisation.
